Pou Pou poles bedded in clusters of native foliage, huge greenstone-finish tikis, flowing water features, changing sound and lighting scapes and swirling mists transported the audience to the mystical time of the tribal elders.
Cinematic imagery of landscapes dusted in mist transitioned subtly behind a Maori narrator as he took the audience on a journey… illustration the many parallels between the journey of the ancient Maori people and other cultural pioneers as we have known them throughout time in a way that was relevant to the conference core focus.
